A Reflection on Love

This is a reflection after reading part of The Shack
" Love always leaves a significant mark." ~ W.P. Young

Whether that love is rejected or accepted; taken or given - "love always leaves a significant mark."
Think of a mother's love. If you have been given your mother's love - you are better off for it. Filled wtih confidence and a sense of worth, you feel accepted and safe. There are no strings attached. You are loved simply becaue you are hers! If you have not been privileged or fortunate enough to receive a mother's love, bewilderment and worthliness can set in. There can be an incompleteness in an individual.
So love, or the lack thereof, will always leave a significant mark~ significantly good or significantly bad.
Relate this to our heavenly Father. His love is always constant, some us feel it and embrace it~ leaving us content, safe, confident and whole.
Some of us reject it, finding in the very depths of our soul -of our being- we are incomplete. And being incomplete leaves a significant mark that only
His presence and his love alone will complete. His love will leave a significant mark on your life and mine.
